Our morning had been spent visiting Stonehenge and Old Sarum. After having lunch at a local pub, we wanted to make sure we didn't miss Salisbury Cathedral. Its serene beauty instilled a welcome calm after our busy morning. The center court yard and its arcade offered us a bit of needed relaxation.
