About
The name of the my studio, Nowoka-Ya, meaning Sun-Moon, comes from a language spoken in Papua New Guinea, where I was in the United States Peace Corps.
I have always been interested in art from drawing and photography to pottery. I hope to translate the number of influences I have had throughout my experience to my art into coherent forms while maintaining the abstraction.
With respect to the photography, it is mostly personal. I don't think of my self as a professional photographer, only an avid amateur. These are images of my travels with my family. I offer them here because these are images I have in my own home.
